Happy Monday my lovely readers. Today’s focus is gratitude. My NA meeting does gratitude meetings every Monday evening, and I think it’s a wonderful way to start the week. Some things I am grateful for today are; my beautiful daughters. They make my hard days easier, they have saved me from myself so many times, and they motivate me to be a better person. I am grateful for the immense support system I have been building for myself. I am grateful for the NA and MA fellowships, I have found my family there and a place I feel welcomed. I am grateful for a roof over my head, and the fact that this is a stable, consistent home for myself and my daughters. Prior to this apartment, the longest time I have held an apartment is for 6 months. We have lived in our current apartment for a year and a half now. I am grateful for my family, they haven’t always been the most supportive, but I am grateful regardless. I’m thankful for my struggles, because I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. I am most of all, grateful for my recovery. 126 days of clean time once seemed like an impossible task. But here I am, clean and serene one day at a time.
I’m going to keep it short and sweet this morning, Monday things and all. On that note, what are some things you are grateful for today? Who are you grateful for? I’d love to hear, leave some comments below!
